Why spend a fortune on high-priced hair conditioning treatments when you can get results as good or better using what’s in your kitchen? All of these homemade conditioners work well and cost only pennies.
Eggs and avocados: This one leaves hair super smooth! Mash half an avocado and mix it with two beaten egg whites, apply to hair and leave for 15 minutes before shampooing.
Aloe vera: This remarkable plant is extremely versatile. Apply the gel directly to your scalp or add some to your shampoo to fight frizz.
Gelatin and vinegar: This is another frizz fighter. Combine one tablespoon of unflavored gelatin, a cup of water and a teaspoon of cider vinegar. Apply to hair and leave on for ten minutes, then rinse thoroughly.
Beer for body: Mix beer and warm water in equal parts and decant into a spray bottle. Spray on dry hair and leave for 20 minutes before rinsing.
Olive oil: This is a natural moisturizer. Warm enough olive oil to coat your hair, apply and leave for an hour before shampooing.
Apple cider vinegar: If you’re troubled by dandruff, massage apple cider vinegar into your scalp before shampooing.
Mashed Banana: An excellent treatment for damaged hair. Mash a banana and add a couple of tablespoons of olive oil to it. Leave on for half an hour before shampooing.
