Can facial exercises delay or even do away with the need for plastic surgery to retain a firm, youthful countenance? Facial exercise guru Carole Maggio says they can. According to Maggio, it’s perfectly possible to smooth away wrinkles, refresh your eyes, tighten your neck and jawline, and plump up your lips by doing facial exercises.
And all you have to do is follow her simple eight-minute facial workout twice a day.
According to Maggio if you follow her Ultimate Facercise program, you’ll see a noticeable improvement in just six days!
Here are two of the exercises Maggio advocates for attaining more youthful eyes:
To tone upper and lower eyelids, reduce under-eye puffiness, and make eyes appear more alert, place your index fingers together between your brows, then wrap your thumbs lightly around the outer-eye corners, as if you have a pair of sunglasses around your eyes.
While pulling your two index fingers up slightly between your brows and pulling your thumbs out towards the top of your ears, squeeze your eyes shut tightly and keep them that way for 40 seconds as you continue to pull up and out with your fingers, working the muscles around your eyes against the pressure from your fingers.
To raise the brow, lessen hooding of the upper eyelids and smooth vertical lines between the brows and forehead furrows, Maggio recommends spread your fingers across the center of your forehead, then pulling your fingertips down against your brows as you push your eyebrows up for a count of 30 seconds. Do this two or three times a day.
Maggio also suggests placing surgical tape over forehead lines while sleeping, which lets forehead muscles relax while dreaming.
It’s certainly worth a try!
