Callanetics, the exercise sensation of the 1980s, is making a major comeback.
Developed by Callan Pinckney during her own search for an exercise method that would repair her injured body, Callanetics uses small, precise movements—usually no more than a quarter of an inch—to gradually reshape, tone and strengthen muscles that underlie skin and flesh so that they become longer, smoother and much more sleek.
Pinckney came up with this method of exercising after travelling around the world when she was young. She didn’t pay much attention to the pains her body was developing from poor usage and posture until those pains became impossible to ignore. Then she used the knowledge of classical ballet acquired in childhood and the yoga knowledge she had gained in her travels to develop a set of safe, no-impact exercises anyone can do.
Pinckney discovered that this approach to exercise caused her body to look and feel better than it had since she was a child! Eventually, she began teaching this technique, and now has taught thousands of people how to easily improve their appearance and become physically stronger without risking the injuries that can come from weight loss equipment.
Pinckney says it’s possible to reshape your body in as little as 10 hours even if you’ve got a bad back! So quit sweating uncomfortably at that expensive gym. Get one of Pinckney’s DVDs and get smoother and sleeker in the privacy of your own living room instead!
